Troubleshooting
This section covers the most common issues users may encounter.
Chapters Do Not Appear on YouTube
This is the most common issue for small channels.
Possible reasons:
- Fewer than 3 chapters
- One or more chapters are shorter than 10 seconds
- Incorrect timestamp format (must be
0:00, not0.00) - External links in the description interfere with processing
- The channel is not phone-verified
- The channel may not meet YouTube’s internal trust thresholds (for example, a very small number of subscribers)
Generation Takes Too Long
This usually happens when:
- The video is long — over 60 minutes
- Subtitles are missing and transcription is required
What to do:
- Wait for the processing to finish
- Avoid refreshing the page during processing
- Try a lower level of detail for very long videos
Chapters Look “Incorrect” or Too Generic
Artificial intelligence is powerful, but not perfect.
Try the following:
- Change the level of detail (for example, Medium → Detailed)
- Edit chapter titles manually after generation
Keep in mind: chapters reflect the structure of the spoken content, not visual scenes.
Live Streams Are Not Supported
At the moment, the service does not support live streams or videos that are still being processed by YouTube.
Known limitations
- No support for live streams
- Processing time depends on the video length
- Chapter quality depends on audio clarity
In rare cases, YouTube may still not display chapters. In this situation, our service cannot influence the result, and the issue must be resolved on YouTube’s side.
Need Help?
If something seems unclear or not working properly:
- first, check this documentation
- try a different level of detail
- contact support if the issue persists
